The BS Entwistle’s incredible award-winning year just keeps getting better and better!
We were honoured to be announced as finalists in two categories at the prestigious Oldham Business Awards last week. Firstly, in the “Supporting Young People” category. We were extremely proud of this recognition. Over the past few years we really have increased our volunteering work in the local community. This year saw us award three more apprenticeships making it 38 young apprentices given the opportunity to improve themselves in the last 20 years. We have also set up with several local Colleges to offer work experience for T-Level students with on-the-job and office based disciplines. We have also become Patrons of Mahdlo youth zone in Oldham. And finally there’s all the charitable work that our very own Entwistle Foundation undertakes.
Secondly we were nominated in the “Oldham Business Person of the Year” award and despite some very worthy competition; we are extremely proud to say we won! To have collected this award ahead of 15,000 local businesses is a very proud and humbling experience. With both categories, it is good to see that all the hard work and effort put in by every single employee of B S Entwistle is beginning to get recognised. Its not why we do what we do – but its very nice all the same! It’s also a clear indication that we are on the right path in our beliefs and ethos and our endeavours; to be at the very forefront of everything we do.
